Pizza Pie Crochet Granny Square

Welcome back friends, today is the second day of the Craft Yarn Council's Anti-Boredom Month Granny Square Crochet-A-Long here on my blog!
And today's granny square is a Pizza Pie! Who doesn't love pizza? I know I can't get enough of the stuff!
Play around with toppings and make a pizza pillow or blanket using these squares!
Look out tomorrow for another fun theme granny!
PATTERN
Size: 7 in. by 7 in.
Materials:
Pizza Pie Granny Square
-Worsted weight yarn, I used Patons Canadiana in Cherished Yellow, Crantini, Cardinal, Fool’s Gold, and White
-Size H 5mm crochet hook
-Tapestry needle
Pizza Pie:
Begin with a magic ring, Ch 2
Round 1: 10 Dc inside magic ring, sl st to join, Ch 2 (10)
Round 2: 2 Dc in each st around, sl st to join, Ch 2 (20)
Round 3: Repeat Round 2 (40)
Round 4: *2 Dc in first st, Dc in next st, repeat from * around, sl st to join, color change to Cardinal, Ch 2 (60)

Round 5: Hdc in each st around, sl st to join, color change to Fool’s Gold, Ch 2

Round 6: Dc in back loop only in each st around, sl st to join, finish off, weave all ends

Pepperoni:
*Make 5
In Crantini, begin with a magic ring, Ch 2, 10 Hdc inside magic ring, sl st to join, finish off leaving a long tail for sewing


Granny Square:
Round 1: Join white yarn, *Ch 5, skip 4 sts, sl st into 5st from hook, repeat from * 11 more times, sl st to first Ch 5 space, Ch 2

Round 2: (2 Dc, Ch 3, 3 Dc) in first Ch space, 5 Dc in next Ch space, 5 Dc in next Ch space, *(3 Dc, Ch 3, 3 Dc) in next Ch space, 5 Dc in next Ch space, 5 Dc in next Ch space, repeat from * 2 more times

Round 3: (3 DC, CH 3, 3 DC) in each corner Ch 3 space, and Dc in all other sts, sl sto join to starting Ch, Ch 2


Round 4: (3 DC, CH 3, 3 DC) in each corner Ch 3 space, and Dc in all other sts, sl sto join to starting Ch, finish off and weave all ends
